I CAN is the charity that helps children with speech and language difficulties across the UK. The charity works to create a society where their special needs are recognised, understood and met, so that they have the same opportunities in life as other children.


Afasic
Afasic is the UK charity representing children and young adults with communication impairments, working for their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers. Afasic is also a recognised training provider for parents and professionals.

The Stroke Association
The Stroke Association is a national charity which is solely concerned with stroke. Every year about 100,000 people in this country suffer first strokes - 10,000 are under retirement age. Stroke is the largest cause of severe disability with 350,000 people affected at any one time.

Speakability is the national charity that supports people living with aphasia and their carers through its information service, national network of groups and activities programme, influences individuals, organisations and statutory bodies in order to improve services for people living with aphasia.
